REFLECTION ON NARRITIVE:
For my narrative I choose to write about the word aint. I wrote about that word and how it bothers me to have it once be something I was scolded at for using and now see in new edition dictionaries. I wrote about how I could not fathom the idea when I noticed it. It intrigued me to know that something once so bad is something not bad any longer. Perhaps it is just I, however till this day I am baffled still. Furthermore, I thought it would be a good topic for some of my classmates to relate to. I’m not sure if anyone has even noticed it but I felt it was interesting to write about. To continue on, I thought it was a good assignment overall. It was one that made you think about the different little aspects of writing. The different little aspects that I think we as students, and even people overlook. Sometimes when things are so small we really don’t realize just how big they are or can become. That is definitely an oxymoron yet true. With this assignment it helped me to see just what it is about writing and words that bothers me. It was a little difficult at first because I wasn’t really sure what I wanted to write about. Once I got my ideas flowing it became a lot easier and smoother. All in all the assignment was one I had never done before, but I enjoyed it greatly. Nice first time experience I have to say.

The Way Dom SAW It
The way I see it, happiness is a factor controlled by the individual and the individual only. It is something that people often let others control or have control over. A wise woman once told me in a time of anger, "Dominique rarely give anybody the ability to anger you. For once that is done they have power over you." It wasn’t until I really sat down and thought about it, that I realized how very true she was. When we as people become involved in relationships with others, especially those that we become so fond of, a majority of our happiness becomes dependent on that other person. Thus, in the end destruction. Destruction because when that person is no longer around, we begin to experience feelings of being incomplete. There becomes a feeling of emptiness, a feeling of loneliness and ultimately a feeling of sadness. Hence there is not happiness present whatsoever. Happiness is one of the few things in life you have a second chance at. It is one of those things to where if it went wrong the first time it can definitely be changed and worked out again for the next time. However like said previously, it is up to the individual. No one else. Closing, happiness is in the hand of the being and whenever in doubt, just takes the next small step. Go with the flow and as always prepare for the most horrible, yet hope for the best.

Starbucks Covo. Day 2
Today at Starbucks we discussed the other group’s cup. Once again walking into Starbucks was great. The smell of coffee lit the room and the soulful sounds of acoustic music streamed through my ears. Voices of the staff members yelling the kinds of drinks people wanted filled the atmosphere, another typical Starbucks morning once again. Pastries looked ever so appetizing and the line slowly but surely became extended. Anyways, I walked in and saw Gustavo, one of my team members standing at the cash register. I’m assuming he was paying for his order. He had a Naked juice in his hand and a pastry. It all looked so delightful. continuing, as I walked up to the top floor where my group and I were meeting I noticed that the fellow group aside from us was already in tip top shape with getting their conversation started. Their faces looked so intrigued by what was being said. I walked up the stairs and decided to begin discussing the cup. We noticed that their cup was heavily written on with quotes, ideas, thoughts, and even tiny pictures. The message on their cup was about culture. About culture and how it is always changing. About the way one individual saw culture as an everlasting process of change, generation to generation. Once my group and I read it, some of our thoughts were similar to the thoughts, and ideas written on the cup. We believed that diversity is what drives American culture and that it is simply the consistent growth in society that regulates culture change. However, one thought that they had listed on their cup was the idea that the thoughts were organic. That we disagreed on and perhaps that was just because we did not understand what logic was behind that idea. We also believed that the way American culture is portrayed is overly simplified. In a sense they felt the way the quote was depicted was fake. After analyzing the whole "the way I see it" it was very similar to a fortune cookie/ horoscope type of thing.

Starbucks Covo. Day 1
So today at Starbucks my group and I met a 9am. It was very causal yet very calm. The atmosphere was nice and subtle. People of course were getting their morning drinks of "let's get this day started and started right!" After five minutes of trying to find which floor to get off of the elevator I finally found it. I walked in and noticed that my group wasn’t all completely there. Not only were we missing someone but also we were missing the person with the cup. Lol hahahahahah how funny. Because we had such a connection in the classroom two days before hand it was almost a for sure thing that something must have happened to her. Because we are all so smart none of us got telephone numbers from one another so no one could even call to touch base with her. Lol sit was then that we decided to wait up until 930 for her to reach. In the mean time we got to know one another. We discussed what year we all were. Where everyone went to high school and who lived where. It actually wasn’t too bad. However, although we were getting to know one another, it seemed the group right next to us was highly intrigued by their cup and what was written on it. It wasn’t till today that I noticed just what was so intriguing. Their cup was absolutely one to make you think. At about 9:35am or maybe even earlier than that our final team member showed up. We discussed the cup, and found out what her issue was. Then roles and arrangements were made and we were all off. That was Starbucks discussion Day 1.
