Reflection:
ReplyDeleteFor my syllabus I felt that it was important to be creative, yet professional. Professional in a sense that the goal of the assignment be completed. In other words I wanted my syllabus to have my twist on it along with the standards held for it, met. I enjoyed having this kind of assignment because it allowed me to think in a way I typically can say I do not. It made me realize that in reality there are things that look easy but are actually not. Because I thought in a way quite different from usual it took time for me to complete the task. Critical, logical and realistic reasoning all went into this assignment. There were times where I felt that everything was going extremely smoothly and then there were other times where I felt that I would never get through. All in all it was worth the time. It was my first time ever writing a syllabus. So, different it was, yet quite an experience also. If there were anything I could change about the syllabus assignment it would be that it didn’t have to meet typical syllabus guidelines. It would have been fun to try something out of the norm. Everything else that was instructed worked out fine. Not too many problems were occurred in this. At least not too many for myself.
